Advanced Level Course
Through the Advanced Level (Post IGCSE Examination) the learners come to study and comprehend original Sanskrit text and Panini grammar. Learners read, understand, appreciate and respond to some of the literature in the original Sanskrit. Learners are exposed to various Sanskrit scriptures such as the Upanishads, Bhagavad Geeta, Laws of Manu, etc. In translating selected passages and verses, a lot of knowledge is gained, depth of the language is experienced and the beauty thereof is enjoyed.
There is also an opportunity to study the ancient system of the Sanskrit language by grammarian Panini who is so highly regarded by modern linguistic scientists. Pāṇini's comprehensive and scientific theory of grammar is conventionally taken to mark the start of Classical Sanskrit.

- Classes start week of 26 Jan 2026.
- Term runs for 10 weeks.
- Classes are held once a week.
- Classes generally start at 19:30.
- Each class will be 90mins.

Pre-requisites
IGCSE exams completed successfully.
Outcomes
At this level the student will:
- Develop, at an appropriate level, a competence in the Sanskrit language.
- Read, understand, appreciate and make a response to some of the literature in the original Sanskrit.
- Acquire some understanding of the civilisation within which this literature was produced.
- Get an opportunity to study the grammarian Pāṇini's scientific theory of grammar which will expand the mind.
- Be exposed to higher knowledge and wisdom which can have an everlasting effect on one’s being.
